Terms of Use

The service

Wakeahead schedules alarms based on public-transit timetable and disruption data and wakes you earlier when there is a delay on the lines you follow. The app is an aid to help you plan — it is not a guarantee that you will catch any particular service.

Subscription, billing and cancellation

Premium features are offered as an auto-renewing subscription purchased through the Apple App Store. The following terms apply:

• Price: [[PRICE_MONTHLY]] per month or [[PRICE_YEARLY]] per year, as shown in the app at the time of purchase.
• Free trial: [[FREE_TRIAL_DAYS_OR_NONE]]. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription automatically renews for the same period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions).
• Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription — you must cancel it in your Apple ID settings.

Restoring purchases

Your subscription is tied to the Apple ID used to purchase it. If you reinstall the app or use a new device signed in to the same Apple ID, use “Restore Purchases” in the app to restore access. No account or login is required.

Apple standard licence

The app is licensed, not sold, to you. In addition to these Terms, your use is subject to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement, available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. Where these Terms conflict with Apple’s EULA, Apple’s EULA governs the licence to the application.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• misuse, interfere with, or attempt to disrupt the app or its backend services;
• reverse engineer the app except to the extent permitted by law;
• use the app for any unlawful purpose.

No warranty — rely on official sources

Transit data is provided by third parties and may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. Always confirm critical travel with official operator information. You are responsible for waking up and travelling on time.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for missed connections, appointments, or transport, arising from your use of or reliance on the app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your mandatory rights as a consumer.

Changes

We may update the app and these Terms over time. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.
